Dear Patients,
Everyone knows the difficulties that we as a nation have had with COVID-19. It appears that numbers are on the rise in Maricopa County which means that our office needs to continue to be vigilant in our commitment to your safety and that of our team.
We are following the guidelines recommended by the ADA, CDC and OSHA for COVID-19. For those patients that haven’t already been treated since we reopened in May you will see changes in our office protocols.
You will be contacted a few days before your appointment and asked screening questions concerning your health, possible contact with COVID-19 patients and travel to parts of the country where cases are spiking.
When you arrive in the parking lot we ask that you call the office so that we can properly social distance our patients and minimize patients in the reception area. We will let you know when it is appropriate for you to come in. It will be necessary for you to wear a mask while you are in the office. We will take your temperature with a no touch thermometer and ask you to use hand sanitizer. Patients with a temperature over 100° will be sent home and not treated that day. The screening questionnaire will be reviewed again prior to going to the treatment area.
In most cases we will ask that anyone accompanying the patient wait in the car. For children that are too young to come in on their own, one parent or guardian may accompany the child to the treatment area.
All our team members will have their temperatures taken at the start of the day and will be wearing masks. You may notice that we are using additional plastic coverings and other PPE in the treatment areas. We have increased our already stringent infection control protocols to keep the office as sanitized as possible and to keep our patients and team members safe.
We remain committed to providing the best quality care in the safest manner possible. Please know that under our new gear we are smiling and very happy to see you.
